ACCESS Delivering on the Multiscreen Promise with Seamless Media Sharing, OTT and TV Centric HTML5 Browser at IP&TV World Forum 2012

ACCESS launches latest version of its leading DLNA Technology Component, NetFront Living Connect 3.0, showcases its OTT solution ACCESSMyTV and hosts UK launch of HTML5 browser NetFront Browser NX

Oberhausen, Germany, – March 14 2012 – ACCESS CO., LTD, a global provider of advanced software technologies to the mobile, beyond-PC and digital TV markets, today announced that it will be showcasing advanced solutions in Connected Home, Connected TV and OTT. Visitors to the stand will be able to see the launch of ACCESS’ new DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) Technology component solution, NetFront Living Connect 3.0 as well as demonstrations of its NetFront Browser NX and ACCESS’ OTT multiscreen video platform, ACCESSMyTV.

Demonstrations on ACCESS’ stand (127) will include:

  • NetFront Living Connect 3.0 – the latest version of ACCESS’ DLNA Technology Component solution enables device manufacturers and OEMs to quickly and efficiently implement services that support DLNA Guidelines on Consumer Electronic (CE) devices. Advancements in the latest model include Remote User Interface, DLNA ‘Premium Video’ and cloud content plug-ins.
  • NetFront Browser NX 2.0 – ACCESS will showcase its advanced new WebKit-based HTML5 browser which features extremely efficient memory use, high stability, high portability and comprehensive support for full internet usage.
  • ACCESSMyTV – ACCESS’ OTT multiscreen video platform allows users to create, watch and share personal video channels on any connected device. The solution leverages the consumption of web video to create new revenue opportunities for content providers, CE device manufacturers and service providers.
  • ACCESS MediaPilot – ACCESS’ DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) Certified® software enables consumers to share music, movies and photos on connected TVs, PCs, iPads, tablets and mobile phones.
