ACCESS and LOTARIS Conclude Partnership Agreement to Expand Mobile Security Platform Services

Tokyo, Japan and Yverdon, Switzerland, — September 16, 2009 — ACCESS CO., LTD., a global provider of advanced software technologies to the mobile and beyond-PC markets, and Lotaris SA, a Swiss-based mobile security service provider, today announced that they have concluded a partnership agreement to expand mobile security platform services for mobile operators and service providers. According to the agreement, ACCESS will resell managed services provided by the Lotaris® technology platform※1 to mobile operators and service providers in selected Asian markets※2. The Lotaris technology platform makes it possible to deliver and manage mobile security products to smartphone users directly through the mobile network.

The Lotaris technology platform is highly addressable with its mobile security services currently providing a seamless user experience to Windows Mobile®, Symbian, Android and BlackBerry® smartphone users. It provides mobile operators and service providers the ability to deliver services in flexible subscription-centric service models and to bill their subscribers directly. Lotaris has already launched the platform for mobile operators and service providers in Europe, North America, Latin America and India. With this agreement, ACCESS and Lotaris will work together to provide services for mobile operators and service providers in Asian markets, with the exception of India.
