China’s Amoi Selects ACCESS’ NetFront™ Mobile Client Suite to Power its EVDO Handset for Mexican 3G Operator

Amoi V810 EVDO Handset Powered by Access Suite Marks the First EVDO Handset from a Chinese Handset Manufacturer

TOKYO, Japan, – December 4, 2006 – ACCESS CO., LTD.(TSE:4813), today announced that Amoi Mobile Co., Ltd., a leading mobile handset manufacturer in China, has selected ACCESS’ NetFront^™TM Mobile Client Suite for deployment in its V810 handset. The Amoi V810 handset was recently shipped in volume to Mexican Operator IUSACE^™LL to support IUSACELL’s 3G Evolution Data Optimized (EVDO) network. The commercial deployment of the Amoi V810 on IUSACELL‘s EVDO network also marks the first shipment of EVDO handsets from a Chinese handset manufacturer.

Currently, there are twenty CDMA 2000 EVDO (3G) networks worldwide for commercial use with approximately 36 million users. In China, Amoi is the first handset manufacturer to launch 3G EVDO compatible handsets. The Amoi V810 is a dual-mode (CDMA2000EVDO/GPRS) 3G handseti enhanced to support GPS functionality while also boasting rich multi-media features, including MP3 and MP4 players, and video telephony via a 1.3-mega-pixel rotational camera. The ACCESS NetFront Mobile Client Suite pre-installed in Amoi V810, is a tightly integrated, flexible, modular and extensible solution with a comprehensive feature-set including the ACCESS NetFront Browser and MMS Client. The NetFront Mobile Client Suite effectively leverages the strength of EVDO network to deliver a full Internet browsing experience for IUSACELL customers.
