ACCESS’ NetFront™ Mobile Client Suite Deployed for the First Time By Vodafone in Japan

ACCESS Solution Now Available From All Major Mobile Operators in Japan

TOKYO, Japan — March 23, 2006 — ACCESS.CO., LTD. (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 4813), a global provider of mobile content delivery and Internet access technologies, today announced that its NetFrontMobile Client Suite has been deployed by Vodafone K.K. in Japan for the first time. Installed on handsets from NEC, Samsung, and Sharp, ACCESS’ solution is now available from all the major mobile operators in Japan.

ACCESS’ NetFront Mobile Client Suite’s tightly integrated functionality and modular structure make, it a flexible and highly expansible software solution. This package substantially reduces mobile phone makers’ development time and cost, speeding up time-to-market for cutting-edge mobile devices.

The NetFront Browser and NetFront Messaging Client are now deployed on NEC’s Vodafone 804N and Sharp’s Vodafone 904SH, while the NetFront Browser has been installed on Samsung Electronics’ Vodafone 804SS. NetFront Mobile Client Suite offers Vodafone 804N immediate compatibility with Vodafone K.K.’s new automatic content delivery service “Vodafone live! CAST” and its “Deru Moji 3D Pictogram Display” which enables pop-up 3D animation in email messages.

ACCESS’ NetFront Browser is deployed on 801 consumer electronics terminal models offered by the world’s principal Internet equipment makers, and can be found on more than 235.04 million devices worldwide (as of December 2005). A software suite for mobile handsets, NetFront Mobile Client Suite is compatible with Japanese domestic mobile phones featuring leading-edge technology and is in use overseas as well.
