O2 Selects ACCESS’ Integrated Client Software Solution for New i-mode™ Services in the UK and Ireland

Deployments Confirm ACCESS’ Position as Leading Global Provider of Integrated Software Solutions for i-mode Alliance Operators and Handset Vendors

TOKYO, Japan – November 11, 2005 – ACCESS Co., Ltd., (Tokyo Stock Exchange:4813), a global provider of mobile content delivery and Internet access technologies, today announced that O2, one of Europe’s leading mobile operators, has selected ACCESS’ NetFront^™ browser, JV-Lite^™2 Java^™ solution, and MMS Messaging client for deployment in handsets offered through O2’s newly launched i-mode services in the UK and Ireland. As part of the agreement, ACCESS will also provide its Compact Viewer Plus, a preview and test environment for i-mode content developers.

ACCESS’NetFront browser, JV-Lite2, and MMS Client were designed from the ground up to function as an integrated solution that shares resources and memory and which delivers a pre-tested, Java-enabled mobile browsing solution that is significantly more compact and efficient than solutions from multiple vendors.
