- Singapore’s StarHub Adopts ACCESS’ i-mode™ Solution For Its To-be-launched i-mode™ Service
TOKYO, Japan – November 11, 2005 – ACCESS Co., Ltd., (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 4813), a global provider of mobile content delivery and Internet access technologies, today announced that StarHub, Singapore’s integrated info-communications provider and exclusive i-mode operator, has selected ACCESS’ i-mode solution, which includes NetFront™ browser, JV-Lite™2 Java™ solution, and MMS client, for deployment in the handsets to be offered for StarHub’s new i-mode service. StarHub’s i-mode service is scheduled to launch before the end of the year.
ACCESS’ integrated client software solution for i-mode is a comprehensive, solution that is specifically optimized for NTT DoCoMo’s popular i-mode service. It offers operators and their handset partners seamless i-mode deployments while minimizing overall costs and improving time-to-market. The solution includes ACCESS’ award-winning NetFront Browser, JV-Lite2 Wireless Edition Java™ solution and MMS client. ACCESS’ i-mode solution is a proven solution with millions of deployments outside of Japan.
