Eclipse™ is the foundation of a powerful set of new development tools delivered in the ACCESS Linux Platform Development Suite. The Eclipse IDE, along with the C Developer’s Toolkit (CDT), has been augmented by ACCESS to work closely with the ACCESS Linux Platform™ Simulator for application deployment and source-level debugging. (formerly PalmSource, Inc.) is an Add-in Provider to the Eclipse Foundation and an active participant in the development of the Eclipse ecosystem.
“We are committed to providing developers with a comprehensive software development suite that enables them to develop and deliver exciting and innovative new mobile applications,” said Larry Berkin, senior director developer ecosystem & technology acquisition for ACCESS Systems Americas, Inc. “Because it includes three runtime environments, ACCESS Linux Platform represents an attractive opportunity for third party developers. Developers can create applications that are ACCESS Linux Platform native, Garnet™ OS (previously known as Palm OS®) native or Java native. No other platform can do this.”
ACCESS Linux Platform™
