ACCESS Aims to Improve Mobile Browsing Content; Launches NetFront™ Browser Partner Program

TOKYO, Japan – October 12, 2006 – In an ongoing effort to improve the Web browsing experience for millions of mobile users around the world, ACCESS CO., LTD. (TSE:4813) today announced the launch of a NetFront Browser Partner Program for content and search providers. As part of the program, ACCESS will release specifications for its popular NetFront Browser to content and search provider partners to promote and facilitate the development of Web content optimally suited for embedded devices.

NetFront Browser is one of the most advanced mobile browsers on the market today, enabling full Internet browsing from numerous mobile devices including PDAs and smartphones.  As mobile users are becoming accustomed to such rich  Internet browsing capabilities, demand for full-featured Web experiences is growing. ACCESS believes that by strengthening partnerships with content and search providers, it will promote a mutual exchange of information that will ultimately lead to the expansion of the mobile Internet market.

The NetFront Browser Partner program has been adopted and accepted by a number of companies including Google Japan Inc., Kakaku.com, Inc., NIFTY Corporation, NTT Resonant Inc., paperboy&co., TSUTAYA online corporation and Yahoo Japan Corporation.
