ACCESS’ NetFront™ Sync Client Installed in All 902iS FOMA™ Handsets from NTT DoCoMo

TOKYO, Japan – June 29, 2006 – ACCESS CO., LTD. (head office Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; president and CEO Toru Arakawa) today announced that its NetFront^™Sync Client software, which supports the synchronization of personal information data in consumer electronics devices, has been installed in all 902iS FOMA^™ handsets as a program to support the backing up of phone numbers stored on mobile phones. This is a new service offered by NTT DoCoMo (head office Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; president and CEO Masao Nakamura).

The mobile phone number backup service, designed to improve mobile phone security, backs up telephone numbers and other data stored on mobile phones onto a network from where it is easily retrievable, using Sync Client, when the mobile phone is lost or replaced. NetFront Sync Client, ACCESS’ data synchronization software, was used to add this new feature. NetFront Sync Client is a client library conforming to OMA SyncML DS v1.1.2 and v1.2 standards for data synchronization (DS).
