ACCESS’ NetFront™ Browser Wins Best High-End Web Browser 2005 Award from Praktiker Magazine

NetFront Browser for Windows Mobile/Pocket PC Continues Global Winning Streak

TOKYO, Japan / NEWARK, CA, USA / OBERHAUSEN, Germany – May 12, 2005 – ACCESS Co., Ltd., (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 4813), a global provider of mobile content delivery and Internet access technologies, today announced that its NetFront® browser for Windows Mobile/Pocket PC was selected by Austrian-based Praktiker Multimedia and Electronics Magazine for a Best High-End Web Browser Award in the Windows Mobile/Pocket PC category.

Located in Vienna, Austria, Praktiker Magazine is an established electronics magazine that has been in existence for 60 years. Praktiker’s test editors selected NetFront for Windows Mobile/Pocket PC as the best high-end Web browser because, unlike Pocket Internet Explorer, ACCESS’ advanced browser includes support for up to five tabbed windows, Java, CSS, the ability to upload and download files, and a broad selection of additional support for all popular Internet data formats.

“We are very pleased to see that NetFront for Windows Mobile/Pocket PC continues to generate interest from the global Windows Mobile/Pocket PC community as this award adds to the list of global awards that the NetFront browser has garnered from organizations and publications throughout the world including Best Internet Software (Club Pocket PC, Germany) and Best Internet Browser (Pocket PC Magazine, U.S.),” said Toru Arakawa, president and CEO of ACCESS. “ACCESS is committed to providing the best Internet browser solution for the Windows Mobile/Pocket PC platform, and the awards that NetFront has received, including this latest award from Praktiker Magazine, demonstrate that our commitment is being recognized.”
