ACCESS’ NetFront™ Browser Now Powers 18 SANYO Handsets Worldwide

Milestone Demonstrates Continued Success of Advanced NetFront Browser Technology and Innovative SANYO Handsets

TOKYO, Japan / NEWARK, CA, USA / OBERHAUSEN, Germany – March 17, 2005 – Demonstrating increased penetration in the advanced mobile handset market, ACCESS Co., Ltd., (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 4813), a global provider of mobile content delivery and Internet access technologies, announced that its NetFront® browser is now available in 18 advanced SANYO handset models in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and New Zealand. SANYO handsets with NetFront browser represent some of the top-selling devices available through SANYO’s mobile operator partners.

NetFront has been selected as the browser technology for 18 SANYO handsets, which include the SCP-4900, SCP-6400, SCP-5300, SCP8100, SCP-7200, SCP-5400, SCP-5500, SCP-7300, SCP-8200, SCP-4920, SCP-7400, SCP-8100NZ, SCP-4920/NZ, SCP-7400/NZ, SCP-8100/CA, SCP-7300/CA, SCP-7300MX, and SCP-4920MX models. These SANYO handsets are among the most technologically advanced in their markets and showcase powerful features, such as digital cameras, speakerphones, exceptional battery performance, color LCD displays, digital voice memo recorders and walkie-talkie style communication capabilities.
