- ACCESS Demonstrates Its Market Leadership in HbbTV and DLNA at ANGA Cable 2011
Oberhausen, Germany, – April 26, 2011 – ACCESS CO., LTD., a global provider of advanced software technologies to the mobile, beyond-PC and digital TV markets, today announced its attendance at ANGA Cable 2011 (May 2-5, Cologne). The company will be showcasing its market-leading NetFront™ Browser DTV Profile HbbTV Edition and NetFront™ Living Connect 2.0 DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) Technology ComponentTM software solutions, in conjunction with five of its partners at the show including CreNova, Fortis, LOGIWAYS, S&T, and Vestel.
The NetFront technology series has been deployed in over a billion devices globally and ACCESS’ NetFront Browser DTV Profile HbbTV Edition is the most widely deployed HbbTV browser in the market today. The platform-independent solution is optimized for embedded environments, and features a small RAM/ROM footprint, low CPU power consumption, support for HTML5 and is backed by ACCESS’ global support network.

NetFront Living Connect 2.0 is portable, has a low memory footprint and is presently the only commercially deployable DLNA Technology Component software solution that includes features such as Remote User Interface (RUI) and Scheduled Recording Service (SRS) that anticipate next- generation DLNA guidelines.
