IP&TV World Forum, London, — March 15, 2011 — ACCESS CO., LTD., a global provider of advanced software technologies to the mobile, beyond-PC and digital TV markets, today announced that it will demonstrate its advanced NetFront Living Connect 2.0 DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) solution and NetFront Browser DTV Profile Edition for HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcasting Broadband TV) and BBC iPlayer at IP&TV World Forum 2011, which takes place on March 22-24 in London. The solutions form an integral part of ACCESS’ NetFront Software Series, a software series that has been deployed in over one billion devices worldwide, including digital TVs, set-top boxes and mobile phones.

“One of the ways in which ACCESS is unique is that we offer commercially deployable DLNA, HbbTV and BBC iPlayer solutions with market-proven success and technological leadership supported by core technologies that have been deployed in over one billion devices throughout the world,” said Dr. Neale Foster, VP of global sales IA at ACCESS. “This enables us to offer OEMs, service providers and middleware companies advanced, fully proven technologies that provide faster time-to-market. And because we offer core technologies for both interactivity and home media networks, we’re the ideal partner for those service providers and CE device manufacturers focusing on delivering solutions for the rapidly evolving connected home market.”

NetFront Living Connect 2.0 is a DLNA Technology Component solution that allows end users to seamlessly enjoy their digital content anytime and anywhere. NetFront Living Connect 2.0 is portable, has a low memory footprint and is presently the only commercially deployable DLNA software solution that includes features such as Remote User Interface (RUI) and Scheduled Recording Service (SRS) that anticipate next-generation DLNA guidelines. NetFront Browser DTV Profile HbbTV Edition enables OEMS, middleware companies and service providers to upgrade or launch HbbTV capable devices and services quickly, efficiently and affordably. NetFront Browser DTV Profile HbbTV Edition is the most widely deployed HbbTV browser solution in the market and is integrated in VESTEL’s HbbTV-ready set-top boxes and iDTVs from S&T, Cabot, HyperPanel, Logiways and VESTEL.
