ACCESS Enhances NetFront™ Browser v3.5 with Increased Functionality and Faster Browsing

Concept Version to be Released for Windows Mobile

NetFront Browser v3.5, the latest version of ACCESS’ market-leading browser for mobile handsets and information devices, provides advanced, feature-rich mobile browsing experiences thanks to greater ease of use and faster browsing. By offering seamless support for Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML), NetFront Browser facilitates the creation of highly efficient interactive Web applications. Building on NetFront Browser’s tradition of making mobile handsets easier to use, NetFront Browser v3.5 enhances the mobile experience with increasingly popular Web 2.0 services by providing intuitive scrolling and one-button access to frequently used functions.

New Features Adapted for Concept Version of NetFront Browser v3.5 for Windows Mobile
Bundling its many new features and improved user interface, the concept version of NetFront Browser v3.5 for Windows Mobile enables users to maximize the functionality of their Windows Mobile devices with stylus pen for a full Internet experience. PageMap, for example, automatically displays entire Web pages to help users understand which part of the page they are scrolling. Swift Navigation provides smooth, intuitive scrolling, and Animated Zoom enables users to quickly and smoothly zoom a selected part of a page. Web pages are easier to read thanks to faster scrolling, zooming and content loading. Column Rendering adapts standard Web pages to fit the screen width of the mobile device, reproducing the page almost exactly as it would appear on a PC screen.

Column Rendering
When viewing content in the previous desktop mode, text often exceeded the screen width, requiring repeated use of the scroll bar. This issue has been resolved, and functionality has been dramatically improved.

• Text content (or news) is rendered to fit the width of the screen using a line break function
• Column Rendering renders almost exactly what you would see on a PC while also supporting vertical scrolling
