ACCESS and Marvell Showcase ACCESS Linux Platform™ running on Marvell’s Next Generation Application Processors for Smartphones and Converged Devices

BARCELONA, SPAIN-3GSM World Congress – February 12, 2007 – ACCESS CO., LTD., and Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL), today announced they will be demonstrating the ACCESS Linux Platform software running on Marvell’s s new generation of application processors designed for feature handsets, smartphones, GPS navigation systems, wireless handhelds and other consumer electronic devices. The demonstrations can be seen in ACCESS’ booth at this year’s 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, Spain (Feb. 12 – 15).

The Marvell and ACCESS demonstration highlights the performance and cost optimization for high volume handheld devices enabled by the combination of the Marvell PXA320 (Monahan-P) and ACCESS Linux Platform.

The Marvell PXA3xx family of application processors (internally named Monahans) based on third generation of Intel® XScale technology was designed for cost efficiency by offering a broad roadmap that is architecturally consistent for maximum software re-use. Marvell silicon provides the headroom for advanced applications with intelligent power management allowing manufacturers to differentiate current and future offerings.

ACCESS Linux Platform is the industry’s first truly integrated, commercial grade Linux®-based platform designed for smartphones and converged mobile devices. The ACCESS Linux Platform is designed to provide handset and device manufacturers, operators and application developers with an open, extensible and unifying platform to develop, distribute and enhance a wide variety of mobile phones and converged devices while carrying on the hallmarks of the Garnet OS (formerly know as Palm OS®) operating system including an innovative and user friendly User Interface design.

“The PXA3xx family of application processors from Marvell provides the flexibility to address the requirements and meet the needs of handset and device manufacturers, operators and third party application developers,” said Tomihisa Kamada, ACCESS co-founder and CTO. “The PXA3xx series coupled with the ACCESS Linux Platform will provide our licensees with an ideal solution for building state-of-the art mobile phones and converged devices.”

“We are excited to work with ACCESS to provide the mobile phone and converged device markets with a solution that we believe will enable them to get to speed their time to market,” said Gary Forni, Director of Platform Enabling, Marvell Semiconductor. “The ACCESS Linux Platform together with the PXA3xx family of application process will provide customers the flexibility to address a variety of markets with ultra low power, high performance, innovative products.”
