DLNA Media Playback
Navigate through a device list and request content from devices that have storage functions, such as PCs, HDD recorders and digital cameras. Play music, videos, or pictures on your digital media player.
DLNA Media Sharing
DLNA media sharing allows users to access, share and control digital content to and from any DLNA Certified® device, including DTVs, PCs and mobile phones, within their home Wi-Fi network.
DLNA Media Upload/Download
Upload pictures and movies taken with mobile phones or digital cameras onto a terminal that has storage functionality, such as a home HDD recorder. Also, download content compiled in an HDD recorder onto mobile phones, digital cameras or portable music players, and take your content with you.
DLNA Protected Content Streaming
NetFront Living Connect supports DTCP-IP Link Layer security technology, which allows users to securely stream their DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected commercial digital content to and from DLNA Certified® devices within their home Wi-Fi network, while ensuring that the content is protected from piracy and illegitimate redistribution.
Use Mobile Phone to Control Content Playback on DTVs and Other Devices
NetFront Living Connect allows users to access digital content stored on devices within a DLNA network and push this content to other devices in the network including DTVs for viewing or playback.
Multi-Room/Remote UI and Content Viewing
DLNA Remote User Interface supports the sharing of user interfaces within a DLNA network. Users can view content on multiple devices in multiple rooms or even remotely while enjoying the advantages of a consistent user interface.
Renderer Hopping
Pause a video in one room and select an alternative Digital Media Player within your home network. Turn on the alternative device and watch the video from the point it was paused.
Content Synchronization
Content Synchronization is a next generation DLNA feature that simplifies the synchronization of content such as photos, movies or music between different media devices coexisting within a home network.
Media Sharing in the Car
NetFront Living Connect allows users to access, control and share the digital content on their DLNA-enabled mobile devices with a DLNA Certified® infotainment system in their car without the hassle of incompatible hardware. This functionality can be integrated seamlessly into the HMI and can fully follow the Car OEM's branding. Users can stream the music on their smartphones to the car's infotainment system and select playlists or songs as well as adjust volume and other playback functions. Users can also share the videos on their tablets on display screens in the rear of the car with full control over playback functions.
