Sandgate II-P reference design includes all the peripherals necessary for the development of a VoIP cell phone using wireless LAN. The Sandgate II-P can be used as a design base for actual system development. This reference board also enables you to develop the software at the same time as the hardware is being developed, greatly reducing your overall system development time. The BSP based on WinCE 5.0 and Linux is included.

SandgateVP is a concept model for a hybrid cellular phone that allows IP phone communication within a WiFi area, and PHS communication in areas where no WiFi access is available. This form factor phone includes all the requirements needed for today's cellular phones, such as Wireless LAN module, microphone, receiver, camera are included as standard features on the SGVP. Windows CE 5.0/Linux OS comes pre-installed, allowing the developer to quickly port their applications for evaluation. This allows for a shortened development time, higher efficiency, and the ability to deliver high-quality products to the market faster.
