Our engineering team in Oberhausen is currently looking for:

Chief Engineers – Embedded Systems

We are currently looking for chief engineers to work closely with the existing teams in Europe as well as in Asia and North America.

Responsibilities include

• Leading the technical part of the team and being responsible for all technical matters
• Producing well structured, documented and maintainable code
• Coordinating of customer requirements and implementation
• Supplying Project Manager with regular technical information, including estimation for new projects/systems
• Quality assurance (ensure proper test, debug and verification of software prior to release)
• Contributing to the institutionalization of disciplines, process and tools and ensure adherence to the Product Development Process
• Presenting at client meetings, leading technical work-shops

Candidates should have a relevant degree (BS, MS, Dipl.-Ingenieur) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or related areas and the following skills:

• Embedded software development using C/C++, HTML, ECMA Script, CSS, Java, PHP a plus
• Good knowledge of operating systems Linux, Windows, QNX, VxWorks
• Expertise in tools as source code management systems SVN, Perforce or similar, Debugger
• Expertise in protocols as TCP/IP, HTTP, UPNP, DLNA
• Good knowledge of Browser, DLNA, Messaging, Networking
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
