NetFront™ Living Connect is a market-leading Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) Technology Component™ solution that enables device manufacturers to quickly and efficiently implement services that support DLNA standards on consumer electronic devices including mobile phones, digital cameras, printers, DVD players, game consoles, digital TVs, set-top boxes, network attached storage (NAS) boxes and more.

NetFront Living Connect has achieved an extensive track record of successful DLNA Certified® device deployments through a variety of consumer electronic devices offered by leading manufacturers in markets throughout the world. NetFront Living Connect is optimized for embedded devices and features high portability and a flexible modularity that allow it to function with any OS or CPU while also providing for easy customization.

NetFront Living Connect is packed with features which ensure that ACCESS can provide device manufacturers, content providers and ultimately end-users with services that provide comprehensive support for even the very latest DLNA standards. The most notable features include a new Media Processing Engine, which provides support for more than 120 file types, Smart Media Manager and Remote User Interface. The combination of ACCESS' NetFront™ Browser, NetFront™ Widgets and NetFront Living Connect provides a turnkey, commercially deployable solution that supports the DLNA Remote User Interface standard.

New Features | NetFront Living Connect

Remote User Interface
Remote User Interface provides the ability to share user interfaces inside a DLNA network. It enables multi-room viewing of content and user interfaces and a consistent interface experience across all consumer electronic devices in the network.
 
Smart Media Manager
The Smart Media Manager is a media server management resource with a browser-based interface that includes features such as advanced content search via content metadata, parental guidance and security settings. It provides an easy-to-use configuration tool, making it possible to define customized rules to access and share content within the home network.
 
New Media Processing Engine
Reflecting the market reality of the availability of several different video/audio codecs and corresponding container formats, NetFront Living Connect comes with a new media processing engine that supports more than 120 different file and container formats. With support for all common file formats NetFront Living Connect also dramatically improves media indexing performance providing a significantly better user experience.
 
Beyond DLNA
NetFront Living Connect is ready for Windows® 7 logo program certification for NetMedia Server and includes compliance with Xbox® Media Player.
